Hi,
My name is Stacey, I have enclosed a picture of Simon my Tuxedo cat. I call him my cat but I actually found him several months ago outside of my place of work. It was a cold wintry evening and I couldn’t bare to leave him outside...so I brought him home.
I had two other cats at that time and had to incorporate him into my home. I have spent quite a bit of money getting him fixed, his shots and he also had really bad diarrhea when I just found him.
He is well now. He is very loving and loves treats. He plays a lot on his own and also with the other cats. Why you ask am I trying to re-home him....
I have two reasons:
1 – He seems to want to be outside, he stares outside and always makes a break for the door every time it opens, I guess he knows what outside is like since that’s where I found him. I am not in a position to have an outdoor cat as my two cats are indoor. I have had them since kittens so they are very happy being inside. I would love for Simon to be in a home where he can roam freely in and out as he wants to.
2 – I am moving out of country and need to leave my cats with my mom, she has arthritis and is ill-equipped to handle all three, especially since Simon darts for the door at every instance.
He is very loving and beautiful. He is litter-trained, doesn’t scratch the furniture and has been trained to stay off the counter tops. He allows me to trim his nails, which I do every month. He loves playing with everything, he is an adolescent cat so he still has that kitten play in him...
I tried to take him to various rescue groups but no one could or is willing take him. I need to re-home him somewhere loving by the end of July, please if you know anyone or if you yourself need a cat - take Simon.
