UPDATED - FOUND A HOME! Gemma

Please help!!  We need to find a loving forever home for our sweet female cat Gemma. Gemma is 2-3 yrs of age, is spayed, fully litter trained, and has all of her shots (for an indoor kitty). We adopted Gemma from TAS about a year and a half ago as we thought our older male cat  was lonely and would do well with a companion. We thought they were getting along okay, but we can see now that we were mistaken and Gemma is not good with other pets, she really needs to be a home where she is the only pet.
She is not interested in getting outside, she just loves to watch out the window and talk to the birds/squirrels, chase her ball, her tail or a shadow! Sometimes she will come up for a cuddle or lay next to me on the sofa or when I'm in bed. Gemma is VERY clean in the litter tray, and she loves to pick up pens, elastic bands, coins, lipstick, etc and carry them around the house and she'll even sometimes hide them under the rug! She also loves her sock babies (she'll walk around with them in her mouth), and I do on occasion come home to find them piled up neatly together. Gemma is very chatty and loves to hang out with us, she also loves to watch the television (especially hockey and anything with birds or other animals). Gemma is also polydactyl and her nails need to be kept trimmed. This is never a problem as Gemma will just purr and play with the nail clippers while you give her a manicure! She has NEVER clawed the furniture and uses her scratching post regularly.

Wherever Gemma goes she will take her litter tray, scratching post, sleeping cube, and various toys/balls which she loves to play with regularly. Gemma is a sweet girl and will be a great companion for the right person. As heart-broken as we are to give her up,we know that she would really flourish in a quiet, adult home with someone who will appreciate her happy disposition. Just not with any other pets!!!!!
We will NOT put her back into a shelter, but we need to find her a loving home as soon as possible!  If you would like to meet Gemma or know more about her please contact Samantha at samos@rogers.com.
