hi everyone, this is Charlie..a beautiful 3 year old black english cocker spaniel that catherine of cocker rescue and i placed into a home just before christmas which we thought was a fabulous home. prior to going there....charlie had some fear and anxiety with small children which is why he was re-homed and this was very manageable. unfortunately since his time with this new owner - who it turns out is over anxious and has been over stimulating him which has resulted now in more behavior issues like growling, resource guarding etc so she is giving up on him and returning him. we're very upset because this is not the dog we adopted to her and she did not listen to advice she was given in terms of what is best for him.
so charlie urgently needs an experienced foster home, a quiet environment and ideally no other dogs. i know a very tall order.

This is the kind of dog I can offer a wonderful nurturing stable home too. I had a dog with bad anxities and even now as he is blind and has issues. I have been able to get him into a stable loving life now.I rescued 7 dogs from the streets ourselve, all went to loving homes except one that lives 11 years and was a very big dog and one that is now 2 1/2 and looking for a more energetic brother to keep up with him. I can afford mediacl care, best food, perfect stability, lots of parkland and a couple smaller dogs for friends. Till my 12 year old passes on.
ReplyDeleteCharlie might have been adopted, but you should try emailing the address above in the post & see if there are any similar doggies...Adopting is the way to go!! :)
