Johnny is a very busy and active 2 y.o. terrier mix possibly Yorkie and Australian Terrier. Johnny is very vocal, and is not shy of barking especially when hes left alone! Please take this into consideration, as barking dogs can be a problem with neighbours. He is very earnest and wants to meet every dog he comes across, however he can be inappropriate in his greetings with some dogs and not all will appreciate his youthful enthusiasm. When Johnny knows you he is a real attention-craving love-bug, but he can be a little bit shy of some new people (mostly men). However, he is quick to warm up if the person offers him a tasty treat and gives him a bit of space. Johnny needs a little bit of work with housetraining, but it wont be long before he realizes where the bathroom is. Johnny would do best with someone who is committed to his terrier side active, excited about life, quick and alert to everything around him, fun-loving, and adventurous. He can spring several feet straight up into the air - from a standstill! Johnny really enjoys clicker training and is learning attention exercises and basic obedience behaviours with gusto and zest. Hi there,
ReplyDeleteAfter I read this ad about Johnny, I do feel sorry about that. My neighbor has a dog act similar like Johnny, the dog start barking all day when his/her master going to work and has not time to walk the dog. I think you must squeeze (you may have sufficient time to do this) time to spend time with Johnny.
Having a pet is a commitment, I had a dog (live till 17 years old) and I love him so much. But I am not planning to have another one now because I know I am not able to afford it at this moment.
I do wish you can try your best to keep Johnny because I do believe Johnny is a very smart dog (even from 1 photo only). And he should miss you a lot if you abandon.
I read a news (it is a true story in TW) that the dog kill himself when his master tried to abandon him due to financial reason. In the first time, the dog spent a week to back home (more than 40 km from home). When his master tried to abandon him again in the 2nd time, the dog beat his tongue and died. His master took the dog to hospital and the dog was finally died. I did believe the master love him but he turned out get regret only.
I say that only wish you can think through your decision again if possible. Please forgive me if I say something inappropriate.
Best wishes to you and Johnny.
Yours,
Stephen
