I have been feeding many stray cats that come to my backyard. One day this very sweet orange cat was wondering around and taking shelter in one of the homes I made outside for them. It immediately let me pick it up, curled into me, and meowed. I immediately called animal services and they told me if no owner claim her in a week they will put her up for adoption and there is a great chance she will be put to sleep because she may get sick in small cages they will have no choice but put her down because no shelters in Toronto are "no kill". I couldn't let that happen. I have since taken her in and taken her to the vet. She is eating and doing very well. She's very affectionate and definately a lapcat. She's very attentive and loves to be cuddled. She does not hiss, scratch, or bite, in fact she's the tamest cat I've ever met, more tamed and gentle than my two cats. LOL. She meows a lot for attention and very responsive to being petted. She's absolutely a gem!.
I can only foster her for a while and need to find a permanent home for her. I live at my parents home and they are so strict about bringing more animals into the home. We have 2 cats and 1 dog and they give me constant stress and complaints everyday about it but my heart cannot bear to let this cat suffer in silence or be put to sleep. What kind of life that would be? I really want to help this beautiful cat find a good person who would love it unconditionally and give it a permanent home because my gut instinct tells me she was abandoned by her previous owner because she lives in the home I made almost everyday.
Can you help me take this cat in and give it a wonderful home that it truly deserves. It needs your help. Please let me know and I will gladly bring her to you. Please find it in your heart to give an animal love. I need to find Angel a good home ASAP because I am planning to trap the other outdoor cats and start fostering them as well and givethem shelter. I cannot have too many pets in the home because of my parents restriction or else I would take all of them as my own.
